Hi Folks,
Barbara, our newsletter editor, and Di, new editor of the technical handbook, have done a splendid job in modernising these two key publications. You should receive yours about now. I'd like to give encouragement to Barbara and Di's continuing creative efforts so if you would like to comment, please post your feedback here. We continue to evolve so do share your honest thoughts, good and bad.
Thanks - Ken

Having decided to write an encouraging reply I picked up the news-letter to remind myself of the new features. Half an hour later, I remembered the PC waiting for my input! The news-letter is a very good read and I like the new format. I also like the lay-flat binding of the handbook. A very good effort!

I was very impressed with both and really liked the new style members handbook. I have dipped in and out of the newsletter quite a few times and was very interested in the exploits of Tango – another fixed keel SS26.

I like the new members handbook, but prefer the previous style of the news letter, The previous news letter feels more like a magazine, which I liked, and not just a pamphlet as the new one does, the old version also has bigger print, which makes it easier to read.

Having said that, I know from previous experience how much work goes into producing these things, and at the end of the day, i am happy enough with what I get for me 12 squids a year, seems like good value to me!

While I have the floor so to speak, as a new member, I would just like to say that I think the PSSA should change it's name, to the Seal and Parker Sailing Association, or SPSA if you like, after all the Seal came first, these Parker gizmo thingies are just tagging along![:D][:D]

On a more serious note, well just thank you really, to all you folk on the management team, and to my fellow members, both me and me boat have already benefitted quite a lot from my membership.

Cheers, Ray.

Both Handbook and Newsletter i think are a big improvement, and as i haven't seen the style of the newsletter anywhere else very interesting.

Thanks[:)]
