I am currently moving the cleats on the foredeck of 21/8 and need to fill redundant holes from the unused fittings. The colour of the deck appears to be a light grey. Has anyone ever colour matched the resin to make an invisible repair?

Yours (No 😎 was the second one built by Bill Parker so I think he was still trying new things! All the 21s I've seen have a deck moulding which is a close match for the white gelcoat repair stuff from Plastic Padding. I tried to match the non-slip texture on mine with very limited success!!

Mine (no 18) is also a light grey but as far as I know hasn't had any filling done - so I'll be interested to know how you get on.

Hi Geoff
I will let you know when I have made some progress on the colour matching, the deck is a very pale grey and does not appear to match any pigment that is easily available. The quest contiues......
