Hi

I'm about to put some new wiring from the mast back to the switch panel and having read the previous threads it makes sense to run the wire down the starboard side of the keel box and through the forepeak but I have a couple of questions to clarify what other owners have found works. These are:

1 - I presume that you drill the hole in the wooden section of the galley/bulkhead rather than the actual fibreglass moulding. Is this correct?

2 - Does the coach roof have a balsa core behind the mast where the through decking fitting are?

If anyone is considering fitting a fixed anchor light and has three core cable up the mast I have found that on Jago the wiring between the switch panel & the through deck fitting is already three core and so it should be fairly straight forward.

Many thanks for your help

Q1. You can drill into the moulding in the top corner so that the cover hides the cable.

Q2 No not at that point.

Three core cable was fitted as standard to the through deck fitting in the the event the customer wanted a tri-anchor.
