Has anyone had a bow thruster installed? Type, hints etc please?

Hello Doug

Blue Moon (325/32) has a bow thruster which was fitted for the previous owner by Paul Redman at Canvey Island . I will try and find the details. When we were looking for a 325, the bow thruster was not on our "Must have" list but must admit we find it very useful in Marinas.

Hello Dough,

Maruli ( P325/27)has a bow thruster (vetus) in a tunnel fitted by the german previous owner. This one looks very helpfull when the keel is up and in a marina but I have just sailed back from Germany to Brittany this summer with the boat. I could send some photos if you want.

Hi Doug

Apologies for the late reply. We have a Quality Line BP300 , they seem to be distributed by Volvo Penta .I have the local agent for

East Coast as Colchester Fuel Injection 01206 862049.

Wiring is from the keel hoist harness, plenty of current required.

Anything more you need to know ?

Thanks. I'll discuss with the boat yard and let everyone know the result. Windows being fitted into saloon hull as well, I had them on my Feeling which stopped having to leap up and down when being nosey!
