Most of you will already know, but for those who don’t, the club walk-ashore drying pontoon is a short distance up the creek opposite where the Portsmouth-Fishbourne ferry berths. Berthing on the pontoon for us is at a much reduced price of only £1 per metre.
High Water Portsmouth on the 13th is 15:26 and access is easily possible 3 hours either side of HW.
For several years now the Parker and Seal Sailing Association has joined the RVYC celebrations on the last night of the proms and a jolly good time has been had by all. The South Coast Championships of the National Squib Owners Association are being held at RVYC over this weekend so they will be joining in with us as well. Dress smart casual.
The RVYC will provide the big screen music spectacular, song sheets and the bunting. Bring your own funny hats and flags if you can.
As usual Gail of Gail Force catering will I am sure provide her normal high standard of tucker.
The Main Course is a buffet with a choice of:-
- Steak and Ale Pie (code S)
- Fish and Chips (F)
- Bangers and Mash (B)
- Veggie (V)
- Gluten free (G)
Dessert will be a choice of:-
- Sticky Toffee Pudding (T)
- Fruit Crumble (C)
- Ice Cream (I)
The RVYC provides the package of the entertainment and the food for £14 per head.
Please fill in the form below and in the notes section state the number of each main and dessert choice. To make it easier you could use codes above. E.g. 1S 1F 2C.
Please do this ASAP, so Gail can sort out the ordering.
Thanks,
Mike.
