Having had intermittent starter problems I want to inspect the 30A inline fuse in the starter button circuit but cannot find it. It is not directly behind the starter panel and not obvious at all in the engine bay. I find it hard to imagine it was put anywhere else as it would then be in the space beneath the locker deck and thus inaccessible. I also doubt it was omitted - ideas?

Does anyone know where it is to be found? Engine is a 1YM10. There is a big chunky grey plastic fiting just behind the starter solenoid about 2 in log and 3/4 in dia but it has three wires going into it and looks like a connector block- is that a candidate?

I think that fuse is buried in the wiring harness, if you work your way along it you may find a lump. The engine manual has the wiring diagrams, perhaps the first thing would be to measure the resistance while wiggling the right bit about.

Good luck
