Hello - looking to install a fixed Vhf antenna and trying to work out how I get the coax from the mast into the cabin, I have removed to coving around the top of the keel box and there is a pre-installed coax that terminates there with the other end coiled up at the fuse box. I need to install either a cable gland (with in-line connector) or terminate the cable in bulkhead connector. Appreciate any feedback on how this is done on other 235s and if there is preference. Hello Zander,

You've done the hard part, removing the trim from the top of the keel box! I remember finding that a little tricky to do without breaking it because of the sealant.

I used an N-Type connector on deck, which has worked well. I can't remember which manufacturer it was from but chandleries sell them specifically for the job.
