Hi there,

We hope you don’t mind us approaching you like this, but an opportunity has arisen for you, as an owner of one of the series of boats from the Super Seal to the Parker 285, to purchase a brand new sail from stock.

Through an internal error, we now have an unused, premium quality “Blade Jib” (approximately 110%, but we can supply a rendering and/or dimensions on request), made in the Vectran-reinforced Vektron woven material (again, we can supply technical specs on request). The UV sacrificial strip is white, and on the starboard side, and it was originally made for a Harken furler, though this can easily be changed.

For this outstanding sail, which was fitted once only and discovered to have the UV on the wrong side for the original customer, and which retailed originally at over £1320.00, we are looking for £850.00 inc VAT only, and it is available for immediate delivery, with a short delay if, for example, the luff needs adapting (we will absorb – within reason – any adaptation costs).

We will be offering this sail on a first come, first served basis, so if you think it may be of interest, please do get in touch soon.

All the very best with any Winter sailing you’re planning, and we’d like to wish you fair winds for the remainder of this season, and if we don’t hear from you, for the coming summer too!

Best regards,

Kemp Sails

A later mail to me shows more detailed measurement and it quotes LP as 86%. It would fit well inside the foretriangle with a clew somewhat above deck level.
