I have recently bought a Seal 22 with an inboard Yanmar 1GM10 with a 30cm diameter prop. The prop tip passes within 1cm of the hull which seems close to me. Can anybody tell me what prop size they use and if there are performance problems. The 1GM10 seems more than adequate for the size of boat.
The boat performance under power was terrible but there was a lot of weed on the bottom and barnacles on the prop. Would this cause a massive deterioration in speed.
There is an Aqua Meter log fitted which does not work. The sender wheel spins OK. Does anybody know where I can get spares; or a compatible replacement?
