Hello all !

We want to make midge screens for when were up in Scotland on our 'mid life crisis round trip 'round trip.

We've bought the midge screen drapes and the leaded weights to make it midge proof, and were at home with the sewing machines. We just need the width, height and length of the main hatch & companionway.

This is really easy to do, apart from the fact that were at home, and 'Shockwave' is enjoying the Norfolk Broads in Llowestoft.....

Can anyone measure the main hatch width (ideally from where the fibreglass slopey bit fairs into the coach roof) and the length ( (the vertical companionway from the deck, and over and allong to wheer the hatch sides under the top glazing).

We'll allow extra, in case of errors, but a measure would help.

No pressure on anyone, but we leave home (and the sewing machine) next Thursday, 9th June...

Cheers, ieuan & Julie

Finally something to occupy the time after three days stormbound in Brancaster. The sliding cover is 750mm front to back and the inside appeture is 560mm wide (on the coach roof it's 680mm wide to the outer edge of the aluminium extrusions that it runs in). The washboard is 650mm tall and 600mm wide at the top tapering to 540mm wide at the bottom (again to the outer edge of the aluminium extrusion outside the boat). Let me know if you need more. I'll try to attach photos.
