My superseal is fitted with a Whale Chimp Mk 1 bilge pump, as I suspect are many other early seals.
Mine is located in the side of the cockpit and pumps from the "bilge" beside the engine with discharge through the stern.
It was neglected by me for many years so when needed in 2018 it didn't work.
A service kit sorted that, but it was old stock and came with a warning that Whale have stopped making the pump and also the service kits.
Lay up this year and a test of the pump; working but the diaphragm has degraded and leaks.
A bit of internet searching and I found another "clearance" kit at Marine Scene.
When I have fitted this one I'm going to rig a sun shield to protect the pump/diaphragm which is in full sun and hopefully extend it's life.
