This weekend I tried the shower after a swim … for the first time. When pumping the water from the shower tray the Whale Gulper pump worked hesitantly when pressing the little switch but seized working after a few seconds. It worked previously after I cleaned the pump last summer. I measured no voltage on the wires under the sink.
Does anyone know if the pump is fused somewhere? How is the wire routed to the switch board/batteries?
I don’t think the pump itself is the problem.

Hi Dirk,
Mine is wired to the freshwater pump switch on the chart table. So this must be on to operate the shower pump out. I don't know anymore than that though. Sorry.
Good luck investigating and do let me know the result.

Thank you Mike. I’am afraid I have to open the panel at the navigation table to have a look, while the freshwater pump is operating normally. I will also test the pump with a separate 12V cable.
