When away on a very four weeks holiday in Indonesia (Java and Bali) I had a shipwright replace the worn and rotting multiply teak veneer in the cockpit. To make a long story short, it was replaced with real teak strokes instead multiplex.
According to the shipwright the removal of the old wood and equalizing the surface would take most of the time.
I have to say: looks good to me. I haven’t seen the final bill yet 😳
