Yes, start by reading the excellent Installation and Operators manual available at Beta Engines online which lays out the finer points of an installation.
https://betamarine.co.uk/portfolio/beta-14/ Particular points that came up in the install of a Beta 16 in our 27:
The section on Wet exhausts - check dims carefully and consider the heeled condition ,possible need for a raised injection bend and anti siphon loop.
If you are replacing an older engine you will probably find that the water intake and exhaust diameters required are greater than any existing engine ,even for the same output.
Apart from the sizing consideration once you have good access to the rear space behind the engine and scrutinise whats there you are likely to be renewing everything except perhaps the teleflex.
Your present propellor may no longer be suitable for the differing ratio of the new gearbox.
There's an 'installation bank' of yacht types/engine ratings on the website at :
https://betamarine.co.uk/seagoing-yacht-listings/ The P275 is not listed currently but an installation is likely to have been made.Beta might recommend the 16 which is only 5kgs heavier and based on the same Kubota.
Once you have read the installation manual you might decide to go via an approved installer who should be hot on all these wrinkles..
