For me on the East Coast and having experienced running aground, I specifically wanted a boat that sailed well and had a lifting keel. Dancer suits us well and her performance is very good, makes me look better than I am!

But we find ourselves wanting something a little bit bigger. If you were looking now, what would you pick that’s around 37 feet?

I can only think of a Southerly that ticks most of the boxes that the Parker provides. But from reading reviews, it sounds like we would lose some performance.

I don’t like the idea of a shoal keel boat and when you sit down and look at what options you have, it appears very limited. Perhaps that’s why longer term members stick with their Parker.
