Can anyone share a diagram or detail showing how the reefing lines for 235 should be rigged please?

I think someone has “modified” the ones on my recently bought boat!

Reef clew line 1 starts in the cockpit where it goes through one of the rope clutches. It then goes through a block in the deck organiser, then on through a block shackled at the base of the mast. It then goes up and over a sheave in the boom at the goose neck. There is a locking clam at this point but this is not used. The line then travels aft inside the boom and exits from a sheave in the end. It then travels up the the reefing cringle in the sail and back down, where it is tied off on an eye that is fixed under the boom in the correct location so that the reefing point is pulled directly downwards.

Reef clew line 2 (for the second reef) follows the same route but with it's own dedicated blocks, sheaves etc.

Now.......... originally the reefing points at the tack of the sail were simply pulled down and hooked over a rams horn. Fortunately, my boat has been modified so that all the reefing can be done from the cockpit.

So.... Tack line 1 starts in the cockpit where is goes through a clam cleat positioned alongside the rope clutches. It then goes forward and through a block that has been attached with a dyneema soft-shackle to the deck organiser. It then goes to another block, also attached with a soft-shackle but this time to one of the rings at the mast base. The line has a quick release clip on the end of it and this is attached to the tack reefing ring on the sail.

Tack line 2 is routed in the same way, again, with it's own hardware.
