Two French little improvements for the P325/335. Easy and cheap!
1) I have put a transparent cover just on the top of the keel well between the two pin supports, when I am sailing keel down. I am always afraid something falls by the long holes inside the keel system. This transparent cover is tied by a little thread to the mast. When I am at the mooring in the Trieux river always the keel and the rudder up, this cover stays on the roof tied to the mast.
2)On the rudder stock there are a transversal hole( one hole on each side) above the central rudder axis. On the top of the rudder blade there is a little transversal slot. When the rudder blade is completely down this little slot is just in front of the two transversal holes. I put a little wooden stick inside so I am sure the rudder stays completely vertically and when I sail in swallow water (slowly with the engine) I keep only this wooden stick without the downhaul rudder rope tied for security.
