The biannual visit to Fareham SMBC  (sailing & motor boat club) has come round again. The plan is to have a ‘bring your own grub’ BBQ as before. Fareham will provide the BBQ, salads and hot potatoes; you bring meat, fish or whatever you want to cook. The additional attraction this year will be ‘horse racing’. You will need some ‘twenty pence pieces’ if you fancy a flutter. If you are any good at running a tote, please bring your calculator. Otherwise you will have to trust, ‘Honest Phil’.

It is the weekend of the America’s Cup at Southsea  so you might actually find yourself sailing alongside a boat that is faster than a Seal/Parker.

Mooring and showers are free at Fareham so long as you spend enough over the bar. We have had 12 boats in the past making it to Fareham. Hopefully we can do even better this year. If the weather is foul, do not worry, come by car instead. Many usually do and we would love to see you.
