My electric winch has developed an intermittent fault. Sometimes, when I press the cockpit switches to raise or lower the keel, nothing happens. Usually, when I juggle the switches and spray behind them with WD-40 it works. Can anyone please suggest a fault finding programme for someone not very familiar with electrics.
From some forum research, I understand that there may be a relay or fuse or solenoid somewhere (in the cockpit locker in retrofitted 275)? I cannot find this in my Parker 285.
Any suggestions gratefully received as it is currently in its intermittent not working phase and I want to go on the Easter rally!

Fixed - thanks to Peter Lowry for some suggestions. It was the solenoid fuse in the forward cabin locker. Just needed cleaning.
