Hi All

We are looking to meet up at Keyhaven for a BBQ on Saturday 27 May and then move onto Studland on Sunday 28 May and have supper on the beach.

Keyhaven Yacht Club has kindly agreed to allow us to use their BBQ. We will be looking to meet for a drink at the club at about 1700 hrs before the BBQ. The bar will be open. The River Warden will be expecting us.

On the Sunday we will leave Keyhaven about midday and cruise to Studland Bay where we will hopefully be joined by some more of the Poole Fleet.

The plan will be to meet on the beach about 1730 hrs on the south side of the pill box, between Middle and South beaches for an American style supper where everyone brings some food to contribute and we can all eat and drink together.

If you would like to come along please email the following information to me on brophy64@virginmedia.com.

Boat name
Your name
Email address
Mobile
Home phone
Number in party
Which event or both

If you could let us know by 21 May if you are able to come along, so that we can keep Keyhaven informed.

Cheers

Hi All,
Just to update everyone on Keyhaven/Studland Rally.
The weather is looking good; spaces are still available at Keyhaven and we are not limited on numbers at Studland.
So far we have 17 boats for Keyhaven with more people coming by road, so there should be 30+ for the BBQ.
So if you can not make it by Water why not join us by road.
We will be looking to meet for a drink at the club at about 1700 hrs before the BBQ.
With regards mooring at Keyhaven, please see below.
1. The River Warden will be expecting you (if you have filled out the form or contacted me)
2. Speed limit is 4kts and keep to the mooring buoys, don’t cut any corners as it gets very shallow
3. Proceed down the river and pick up an empty mooring, (ones without a tender).
4. Please use your own warps on the mooring buoy.
5. If there is space at the Quay, feel free to moor alongside the Quay (20min limit south side of Quay).
6. As we are a large group I will collect the mooring fee (£10.00/boat) at the club.
7. The only anchorage is on port side just inside the river entrance.
8. The tender pontoon is accessible at all states of the tide

At Studland, there will be about 25 on the beach with hopefully more Poole boats joining in.
The plan will be to meet on the beach about 1730 hrs on the south side of the pill box, between Middle and South beaches for an American style supper where everyone brings some food to contribute and we can all eat and drink together.
If anyone has any further questions, please let me know.
Cheers
Denis
