Hi there, I am looking to purschase with my brother a 275/285/31

We recently sold our Fulmar which whilst lovely, was quite restricted in the area (River Exe/Lyme bay) that we sail by the depth of keel, hence looking for a lift keel. I sailed a SS 26 years ago and loved it!

We have been in discussion with the owner of 275 sail No 31 and have seen the survey that indictes some tidying required, consistent with her age. I am hopeful that we will secure this one, but if not, is does anyone know of another that may be coming onto the market this spring... we are recently retired and want to explore our beautiful coasts with the occassional hop to the channel isles/Scilies etc...

Did you get a 275 ? We have one on river Dart and love it (Sunbird, no 59). In fact we were in the Exe a couple of weeks ago. We had a 235 before that. You may recall our paths crossed before with oppies at Starcross and at Livewell. Laurie's son (7) is now learning to sail and I know they have been interested in Starcross (they are at Stoke Gabriel now).
