Hello, I have been following the secondhand market for Super Seal’s for a little while. I am hoping to buy something, realistically probably next year, as a retirement treat when I should also have access to a cheap mooring.
Although I’m not exactly sure what is actually selling and ultimately for what price, it seemed that a year or two back 10-12k was the going rate. Recently i have been tracking a few SS26/Parker27 in the 10k bracket, and some in 7-8k range that have been up for sale for a while and even one on ebay for £4750, which as far as i can see didn’t sell. It doesn’t seem much is selling?

Of course they will all have their different good and bad points and different relevant values. Is there something going on (cost of living crisis finally biting for this end of the boat market?) or was the 10-12k prices i was seeing a few years ago some sort of post covid bubble, I wasn’t following prices closely before covid.
Anyone have any thoughts as to whats going on? And even better where its going!
