We were very pleased with our 9th place in group and 108th overall out of approx. 1875 boats. The winds eased just enough on Saturday morning to allow us to race. Our time was 9hrs and 5mins, maximum recorded speed of 9.4knots surfing down wind and on the 3m swell coming up the channel. We averaged 6.1 knots! We had about 20knot winds, gusting to nearer 30knots, it was a bit tricky at times. The 235 is a brilliant boat!

I will write a report for the next PSSA mag.

Many thanks to David Eyre, skipper and owner of Cool Breeze 235 / 27, and Andrew Jones, who joined with myself as crew.

Graham - well done. I told Bill about the success of the 235s. He was very pleased at your achievement.
