I notice that it is becoming a regular occurrence for SPAM messages are being placed on the various Forums. There is nothing I can do about this but I will delete them on a regular basis.

Actually I have considered doing exactly what you suggest or alternately setting up a new Parker 31 Forum and moving the existing messages across.

If I merge the 31 into the 325/335 and remove the existing 31, I need to check that the forum addresses below that of the 31 don't automatically readjust. I think the spammers are using the address of the 31 Forum and I wouldn't want the spam messages arrearing in the 325/335 one which is the next in the series.

I'll play around a little and see what's the best option.

Been thinking about your spam problem on the P31 forum.

There appears to be so little actual traffic on the P31 section, that a simple (albeit possibly temporary) solution would be to delete this section completely, thereby preventing the spam, and merging the P31 into the P325/P335 sections. This will prevent the spammers for a while, thus giving you time to think up a more perminent solution for the Forum as whole.

Stuart - I have moved the 31 Forum which seems to have thrown the Spammers off for a while. This wouldn't be so easy if they us the busy forums though.
