This is Vol-au-vent P275 broadcasting live from Brixham using the free 24 hour trial of wireless internet in the marina.
On the way to Torbay, we phoned ahead to try to book a berth in Torquay but it was full, unlike last time we were here. It seems that the place is full of motor boats these days and you have to book months in advance to stand a chance of getting in.
We called Brixham, who said they'd call us back. Eventually we got onto the events pontoon, where they raft two or three out on each side. There is no water on this pontoon, and shelter is not good in the current North winds. We since moved into the main marina, where shelter is good and all mod cons are provided. The price is reasonable.
So if you are heading to Torbay, do try booking ahead.
