I was out checking over CJ this weekend. I seem to have developed a sticky neutral button on the throttle. A squirt of WD40 got it moving again but now it require a bit of wriggling to go form neutral to drive. The engine is a Bukh 10.

I took the protection box of the back (in the locker) to see if there was something to service, but it looks like a sealed unit.

Has anyone any ideas? I left it with a good drenching in WD40, but I would like a more permanent solution. Has any one had one of these apart?

Hi Richard

I suffer the same problem it seems (on cleo)that the gear lever button when not used as much in the winter gets stiff. I just soak in wd40 or a silicone based spray and once freed up put grease on it and seems to keep it free

hope this proves useful
