Placing an advert

If you'd like to place an advert, please email the webmaster. If you're selling a boat, please include the class, boat name and sail number, a general description and an equipment list, any good photos and - of course - the price! The advert will have it's own page and URL, will stay on as long as you want it, and may be updated whenever necessary.

"Boats for Sale" adverts are free for current PSSA members of at least two years' standing, and also for ex-members who have held membership for at least two years, including the year prior to the sale of the boat.  Non members can also place boats for sale adverts for a one off charge of £20.  "Other Items" and "Wanted" ads are free for members.

11 Sep: Sailtainer furling Main

I purchased this setup about 18 years ago for a project Tradewind 33 that I never got round to finishing ( I purchased a Parker 27 and never looked back). I am now trying to sell the boat and parts I bought fo it. I have discovered that this boom and sail will exactly fit a Parker 325/335with identical P and E dimensions. The mainsail is still in it’s sealed Jeckells polythene bag which is stored in a dry metal shed along with the full length battens. The boom was stored wrapped in bubble wrap inside a heavy duty packing tube. although the storage tube had suffered from damp the boom is like new, the bubble wrap having protected it. I have it for sale on eBay if you want to follow the link for details but if you deal with me directly I will give a discount as I avoid eBays commission. To buy this setup today would cost over £10,000 according to Jeckells. I am offering the complete package for £4000. ONO. Inspection is welcome at my home in Loxwood, West Sussex. It is a bit too long and heavy to be carried on a car roof rack ,even an estate car ( I have an Audi A4 Avant) but a large van with roof rack or 4.5M loading space can carry it or as I did, put the back end overhanging the back of a two wheeled trailer and the forward end on the rear roof rack with suitable padding and strapping.

11 Mar: TV/ DVD player for sale

My old boat TY/DVD player, it's small, only 10.4", but its free, just collect from me in Chichester.

I've checked, it works, just needs an aerial and its ready to go.
