Hello Royce
Beware of assuming diameters and tapers whilst the boat is in the water. I did this only to find when we lifted Blue Moon, the propshaft had a step aft of the cutlass bearing and reduced from 30mm to 25mm, not all bad as it enabled Darglow to use a smaller boss on the featherstream prop I was buying, hence saving money.Prop and service from Darglow were excellent ,only problem experienced was running into things for a while with the new prop as the boat did not slow in neutral as it used to with the fixed prop. Emphasises how much drag there is in a fixed prop.
