For anyone wishing to join in this rally here are the details of the plan (weather dependant of course)

Mike Baldwin will departing Emsworth Thursday 23 May for Shepherds Marina in Cowes. The plan is to gather additions to the rally there or at Yarmouth Marina on Friday. Probably, we will look to anchor in Swanage Bay on Saturday afternoon for early departure Cherbourg on Sunday.

It is the start of a 6 week trip for us, and you will have to make your own way back unless you want to join us for the entirety.

If the weather doesn't play ball for crossing the Channel then, we may spend a day or two in Poole Harbour before making our way to Dartmouth and either try from there, or keep heading west.

You can of course join in and leave wherever you want, but please enrol or contact us so we know who is going

The PSSA is the class association for Parker and Seal lift keel yachts and other types of shallow draft yachts.
As an active, friendly club with almost 350 members, it organises rallies, social events and an annual race around the Isle of Wight.
Seals and Parkers are British-built yachts, ranging in length from 21' to 33', mostly with lifting keels. They started with the Seal 22 in 1970, built by John Baker, and followed by the Seal 28 and Super Seal 26. In 1981, Bill Parker took over the range and added the Parker 21, Parker 27 and Parker 31. These then evolved into a high-quality range of cruiser-racers built by Parker Lift-Keel Yachts - the trailable Parker 235, the Parker 285 and the Parker 335. In 2009, Parker Lift-Keel yachts ceased trading.
