BOOKINGS FOR THE RALLY ARE NOW CLOSED!

ELEVEN BOATS ARE EXPECTED AND THE PONTOON HAS REACHED CAPACITY WITH RAFTS OF TWO.

Please join us at the RVYC, Wootton Creek, IW on Saturday 22nd August - home of six PSSA member boats.  The tides are ideal with at least 0.5m depth on either side of the pontoon on both Saturday and Sunday.  The outer end dries approx 1.0m above datum/inner end approx 1.5m.

Berthing - six boats should be able to berth alongside the pontoon on either side (including some extra space not shown on the Berthing Plan).   Unless there is a strong north-easterly, rafting should be OK as boats will be floating all the time.  

Please let me know if you would like to arrive before approximately 1400 hrs (or the night before) so that we can accommodate any Saturday lunchtime visitors for Short Stays.

Bar and Galley

The Club Bar will be open from Sat 1100 - 1900 and Sun 1100 - 1500.  Food will be available both lunchtimes. 

Rally arrangements

Drinks and nibbles - Saturday 1730 on the lawn - please buy your drinks at the Club Bar.

Saturday evening meal - DETAILS WILL BE POSTED BY SATURDAY 15TH AUGUST

Please let me know if you plan to attend as soon as possible (by Friday 14th August at the latest) so I can negotiate the catering arrangements and make a berthing plan.

The PSSA is the class association for Parker and Seal lift keel yachts and other types of shallow draft yachts.
As an active, friendly club with almost 350 members, it organises rallies, social events and an annual race around the Isle of Wight.
Seals and Parkers are British-built yachts, ranging in length from 21' to 33', mostly with lifting keels. They started with the Seal 22 in 1970, built by John Baker, and followed by the Seal 28 and Super Seal 26. In 1981, Bill Parker took over the range and added the Parker 21, Parker 27 and Parker 31. These then evolved into a high-quality range of cruiser-racers built by Parker Lift-Keel Yachts - the trailable Parker 235, the Parker 285 and the Parker 335. In 2009, Parker Lift-Keel yachts ceased trading.
