Hi All,

I am the new owner of Parker 235 No. 30. As the boat is new to me I would like to lift the keel out for inspection and maintenance. I don't have easy access to machinery or crane to lift it. I was considering getting a lifting frame made so I could do it myself without towing the boat to a yard. I did notice a discussion from about 16 year ago by Gary, the owners of Juicy Blue, about a frame he got made. There seemed to be photos etc but I wasn't able to find them. If anyone has photos or drawings of such a frame I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Danny

I think Peter Scriven made a lifting frame for the keel. Suggest you try messaging him. He no longer sails but still has the boat. He might be able to help. He keeps his boat at Bucklers hard and lives in Salisbury.

I'm the new owner of number 54 and have the same question. Have you seen the photographs in the link above?
